Writer's Biography

Justine’s parents introduced her to flying at a very young age; her first overseas trip was to Australia when she was five. The travel bug firmly caught, she had no option but to continue. Now in her 30s, she has travelled extensively throughout New Zealand, the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia and the South Pacific. She has also spent some time travelling in the US.

A highly trained and experienced print journalist, Justine has written travel stories about most of these destinations. Her stories aim to educate and inspire, and provide insight for people planning trips.

Justine has experience living in other countries and has an insatiable curiosity about foreign cultures.

A leathery man of unknown age with a cigarette dangling from his mouth checks his fishing nets and stops to stare at a boat puttering past. Ramshackle houses line the riverbank, where women busy themselves cooking or washing and children scamper up and down. Everything looks exactly as I imagined it.
