Writer's Biography

Kate Liptrot lives in South Korea where she works as an EFL teacher. She has a degree in English Literature and hopes, upon returning to England, to use it in pursuing a career as a newspaper journalist. Before settling down in her native country, however, she intends to travel the length and bredth of Asia and find further inspiration for her writing.

My dinner was distressed, so he tried to climb out of the pot. He barely fit anyway, perched upon a mound of seafood, the rest of which was thankfully already dead. Tentacles shot out in every direction and I squashed down the lid to keep him from making it on to the table.
