Writer's Biography

After graduating with an English Literature degree, Lauren travelled for a year around the world with her boyfriend. Out of all the places they visited, Thailand and Indonesia made the most powerful impression on them, and their next big trip would be back to the areas they missed: Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. It has been over a year since they returned home, and everyday she can't helping sighing - longing to be on the road again, feet squelching in forever sandy sandles. She is currently back in the UK studying for a Masters degree in Creative and Critical writing and spends all her free time writing short stories and travel articles, and daydreaming about whisking her boyfriend away, rucksacks on their backs. If she could end up being a meandering science fiction-travel writer, her life would be complete.

As the thin, rough skin of her lobes stroked against my bare calves, a wave of respect and understanding washed over me. I had fallen in love.
