Writer's Biography

Manuela Anne-Marie Pop is a computer engineer, who enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures - she has traveled and lived in three continents: Europe, North-America and Asia. She also has a variety of hobbies: such as cooking different vegetarian dishes, practicing yoga and meditation, reading and writing, and spending time on the computer.

In September 2005 Anne-Marie M. Pop published the book "Young Female, Traveling Alone" with iUniverse. It is a book inspired by her travels in S.E Asia and India from October 2003 until March 2004.

“How much to cross over to Strung Strang?” I asked the Cambodian man.

“Fifty dollars,” he quickly replied.

I had met Esther, a young Israeli girl, on Don Det, an island in the Four Thousand Islands region south of Laos. She was traveling with a group of Israelis through Asia. We were going to travel together through Cambodia.
