Writer's Biography

Fresh out of film school in Toronto, Canada, with no job prospect in that field, Samantha Stokell decided it was time to see rest of the world. Six months later she landed in Kitakyushu, Japan as an English teacher, and has been there for the past 7 months. A rookie writer and traveler, she looks forward to doing more of both in the future.

I have no idea what I'm saying, but it doesn't really matter. Dancing in a mosh pit of sorts on the streets of Tokushima with a group composed of English teachers and other revellers; we're in town for teacher training, but its really an excuse to get us here for the Awa Odori Festival.
