Writer's BiographyTom Thumb got his pen name after hitchhiking from England to India at the age of 20 and then writing about the trip in "Hand to Mouth to India" (www.tomthumb.org/travelbooks.shtml) was published in the UK in 2000. He's been traveling the world without a pause for the last 12 years and now isn't sure how to stop. HIs adventures have included helping foreign prisoners out of jail in India, working as a street merchant in Japan and as a tour guide in Brazil. He set up www.roadjunky.com in 2004 and now uses that as an excuse when people ask him what he does for a living.
